9月・夏休み中の経験

　暑い夏の日々が続き、秋の到来を待ち望んでいる私ですが、皆さんも同じでしょうか。ウクライナには、「夏は小さな人生だ」という言葉があります。長い夏休み（ウクライナでは2か月）に得た経験や新しい知識を持ち、社会に戻って来ます。
　
　私にとって、今年の夏は特別なものとなりました。子ども達2人と一緒に、日本国内を訪れたのです。日本は旅をするのにとても便利で、ルート検索で正確な情報が出たり、近くにいる方が助けてくださいます。そして、持ち物を心配したり、盗難される心配もありません。日本では普通のことかもしれませんが、残念ながら他の国が同じとは限りません。
　昨年、日本に来た時から、昔ながらの日本家屋と高層ビルが混ざりあっていることに感銘を受けました。今回の旅でも、古い日本家屋の隣に急に太陽光パネルや風力発電施設が現れたときは、驚きました。私は、古い景色と新しい景色の混ざりあった日本が大好きです。
　
　また、先日は、私の第2の故郷である鎌ケ谷市の子育てフェスティバル「ニコカマフェス」で実施したウクライナ支援コンサートに参加しました。子育てのイベントで、ウクライナに目を向けていただいたことがとても嬉しく思い、また貴重な機会となりました。
　ウクライナの伝統楽器「バンドゥーラ」をカテリーナさんが演奏してくださいましたが、この楽器には歴史があります。よろしければ調べてみてください。カテリーナさんの演奏はとても素晴らしく、ウクライナと日本の曲がありましたが、ウクライナの曲を久しぶりに聞きました。曲の中に母への愛の曲がありましたが、私は3年以上母に会えず、母のことを思うと、涙が止まりませんでした。
　コンサート内で対談をしましたが、子ども達に戦争のような恐怖を与えず、子ども達の未来や世界平和のためにも、私たちはこれからどうすればよいのか考えていただければ、とお伝えしました。共に考えていただける方が少しでも増えることを願っています。コンサートでのご支援や私たちへお気遣い、いつも感謝しています。ありがとうございます。

Experience in summer vacation

On hot summer days, I think not only I dreamed of the approach of autumn, and now it is finally closer.
In Ukraine there is a staring phrase: Summer is a small life. - And indeed, after a long summer vacation (and in Ukraine it is 2 months), we all return matured with new experiences and impressions.
　

For me, this summer was special because it was the first time I traveled around Japan alone with my children. Japan is a very convenient country for traveling, you can rely on the schedule of routes and kind people around, and here you can not worry about your things - you will not be robbed. For you, perhaps these things are normal, but believe me, this is not so far in every country, unfortunately. If you are in Ukraine, watch your things.
From my very first days in Japan, I was impressed that the combination of old Japanese houses and the new skyscrapers nearby. But what was my surprise when I met the same combination on my trip. In the villages, I saw many houses in the old Japanese style and next to a solar farm or a wind farm. Old and new side by side, I really like it in Japan.
　

Recently, I took part in a children's festival “NICO KAMA FES” which has a concert for supporting Ukraine in my already almost hometown of Kamagaya. I am very grateful that at the festival attention was drawn to Ukraine as well, this support was very important opportunity for me.
My compatriot Katerina San, who performed Ukrainian and Japanese songs and played the bandura -a traditional Ukrainian instrument.
The bandura has 65 strings, until the 20th century it was played mainly by blind male musicians. These musicians played an important role in the life of Ukrainians.
Listening to Katerina san’s music was very emotional for me. I haven't heard Ukrainian songs live for a long time. One of the songs was about a mother and her love. I have not seen my mother for more than 3 years, so I couldn't hold back my tears.
　

At the concert, I asked everyone to think about what we can do so that children no longer see the horrors of war. Hopefully, many people also think about it.
